The rest of the league is:
The mixed team (including one crew member from INSEAD, and one from Oxford) came top of the points table at the RSM regatta in Porto, Portugal last weekend. They had a dominant first day, with 3 first places, and managed to hold onto first place with 2 second places on day 2.
The podium was made up of Kellogg/WHU, who found their mojo on day two, finishing the regatta with three bullets to end up second, and RSM who scored consistently to finish third, level on points.
Chicago Booth complete the list of competitors, with Skolkovo scored DNC in all races, after having to pull out due to international travel issues.

The organisers of the Global MBA Trophy regatta which was due to take place in Piraeus, Greece at the end of April 2021 have announced that it will not be taking place.
They issued the following statement:
As we all probably expected, it’s become clear that we will not be able to run the Global MBA Trophy regatta in April. The Organisers, London Business School Alumni Sailing Club and the Yacht Club of Greece called off the regatta on 10th April.
There are a number of factors to the decision:
The ongoing lockdown, curfew etc.. in Athens and Attica, for which I do not believe there is a date for it to be lifted before May.The banning of all non- essential overseas flights from the UK until at least 17 May, meaning competitors resident in the UK will be unable to travel. There are similar travel bans in place in other countries. The fact that we have only got four boats registered and paid a deposit.
We would like to attempt to run the regatta again in September (23- 26) or October(21 – 24), but need to make sure that there is a free slot in the MBA sailing calendar at that time. If not, we will be back in April 2022
The organisers of the RSM Regatta have confirmed the dates of the 2021 regatta to MBAsailing.com.
The regatta will be held in Porto as it has been since 2017.
The dates are: 1 – 4 July 2021.
The RSM team look forward to welcoming you there!
MBA sailing looks set to return in 2021, with the announcement of the Global MBA Trophy regatta in Piraeus, Greece on the 22nd- 25th April. This will be the 16th time that the regatta has taken place. It is returning to Greece after it’s 15th edition in the Solent, England, and after two attempts to stage the event in COVID- hit 2020.

Division A (Platu 25) will compete for the Global MBA Trophy and will count towards the 2021 MBA sailing league. Practice and welcome ceremonies are planned for 22 April, with racing on 23 and 24 April. A COVID- compliant social programme is planned.

Due to the restrictions put in place to fight the Corona Virus, the Global MBA Trophy, scheduled for October 2020 in Piraeus, Greece, has been cancelled.
The organisers posted “Thank- you again to our sponsors and to all the attendees who’d signed up to come racing in October. We hope to see you in April for the 2021 edition.”
The regatta has taken place 15 times since 2006. This was the first year that a regatta did not take place. The regatta was due to take place on 30 and 31 October 2020.
The RSM Regatta, which was due to take place on 2- 5 July 2020 was cancelled despite the efforts of the organisers. Not enough crews could make the original dates or the proposed new dates in August for the event to go ahead. Quarantine restrictions on travellers returning from Portugal meant that many teams were unable to participate.
The regatta had introduced special rules to deal with the Coronavirus, requiring all participants to have undergone a Covid 19 test in the 72 hours prior to the regatta and to have tested negative.
The Bocconi MBAs conference and regatta, due to take place at the end of September, will also not take place this year due to the impact of Covid 19 on gatherings in Italy, and increased travel restrictions around the world.
The organisers of the Global MBA Trophy have announced the dates of the postponed 2020 regatta, to be held in Pireaus, Greece.
Coronavirus – permitting, the regatta will now be on 29 October – 1 November, with racing on 30 and 31 October. The regatta is hosted by the London Business School Alumni Sailing Club and the Yacht Club of Greece.
