SDA Bocconi’s sailing teams have ended the 2025 season as champions of the MBA Sailing League. Following their victory in Cascais, Portugal, the crew from the Milan- based business school crowned a season where they’ve consistently finished in the top 4 of regattas, scoring 2nd in Greece and Malta and first in Portugal. Bocconi were the defending 2024 champions and retain the MBA Sailing league trophy, which will be presented to them at the Global MBA Trophy regatta in Piraeus in April 2026.
Second place in the league were IE, who scored 1, 2, 3 in the POLIM regatta in Sardinia, the IE regatta in Cascais and the RSM regatta in Malta, but were weighed down by a 7th place result in the Global MBA Trophy in Piraeus. The podium was completed by POLIMI GSoM, who were consistent through the season.
It was a very completive year, with four different schools winning the four regattas. Competition begins again next April in Greece with the Global MBA Trophy’s 20th edition.
