The team from EPFL, Lausanne won their second Rolex MBA Regatta in Santa Margharita Ligure, Italy. The EPFL team now have back- to- back successes, having been the champions of the same regatta in 2012.
The team from Manchester Business School came second, and the podium was rounded out with Tuck business school; Bocconi’s crew came in fourth.
EPFL won the Beneteau 36.7 fleet, then beat Tuck in the semi- finals, finally beating Manchester in the finals of the match racing. The Jeanneau Sunfast 37 fleet was won by Tuck. Bocconi came second in the 36.7s, Manchester 2nd in the Sunfasts.
League leaders LBS were last- but -one in the 36.7 division, while their closest challengers INSEAD were 4th in the same division, meaning they get 9 points fewer, to help with their assualt on the league top spot.
