Due to the restrictions put in place to fight the Corona Virus, the Global MBA Trophy, scheduled for October 2020 in Piraeus, Greece, has been cancelled.
The organisers posted “Thank- you again to our sponsors and to all the attendees who’d signed up to come racing in October. We hope to see you in April for the 2021 edition.”
The regatta has taken place 15 times since 2006. This was the first year that a regatta did not take place. The regatta was due to take place on 30 and 31 October 2020.
