The organisers of the Global MBA Trophy have announced a special “Offshore” event for the 15th edition of this regatta.
London Business School have returned the regatta, normally held in Greece, to home waters off the South coast of England, and upped the adventure quota: The regatta will feature a day’s offshore racing in a famous 50 nautical mile route around the Isle of Wight.
Participants will race one design Beneteau First 40 racing boats. Crews of up to 10 people. The boats will be collected from Port Solent, with hand over at the Sunsail office. Early bird participation fee per boat is 3,6000 pounds for an 8 person crew, £350 per additional crew member up to 10 persons. Deposit required by 19 January 2019. Late applications pay £200 more/boat . Accommodation for up to 8 sleepers is available on the boats – participants should bring their own bedding.
