The 2024 POLIMI GSoM regatta, taking place in Cala dei Sardi in Sardinia on 9- 12 May has opened its registrations for the event.

London Business School, organisers of the 18th Global MBA Trophy in Piraeus, Athens, Greece in April 2024 have announced a preliminary list of participants.

Early Bird sign- up ends on 31 January. Also, after that date, the regatta will accept second entries from individual schools for division A spots.
In the Platu 25 Class, Division A, competing for the Global MBA Trophy and ranking in the MBA Sailing League, the following teams have signed up:

The Sailing Club team from POLIMI GSoM have announced the dates and venue of their 2024 regatta:
9 – 12 May
Cala dei Sardi, in the Mediterranean sailing paradise of Sardinia.
There will be 2 divisions: Division A sailing one- design J/24 sports boats (team of 5) ; Division B sailing cruising boats (team of 8).

The final scores are in, and the league table has been calculated… POLIMI GSoM win the 2023 MBA Sailing League by a single point, with IE in second place and LBS in third. Reichman come in fourth, just 4 points behind POLIMI.
POLIMI win the Global MBA Trophy regatta in Pireaus in April, came second at their own regatta in Garda, then missed the ABC regatta in Kiel and the IE regatta in Lanzarote, but held out to win the league.
The MBA Sailing League trophy will be presented at the Global MBA Trophy prizegiving in April 2024.
POLIMI last won the league in 2018. The league has been competed for since 2011.
POLIMI GSoM, from Milan remain top of the 2023 MBA Sailing league after the ABC regatta in Kiel. Reichman’s win in Germany takes them back up to second place, just 3 points behind. LBS and IE, who missed the ABC regatta, drop back to 3rd equal. The 2023 league table is here.
This means that POLIMI remain topping the 12- month rankings with LBS clinging onto 2nd place. The rankings are here.
Attention now switches to the IE regatta in Lanzarote next month. Both POLIMI ands Reichman are expected to take part, so there’ll be a showdown in the Canaries!
POLIMI GSoM’s second place in their own regatta consolidates their position at the top of the MBA Sailing League table for 2023. IE and LBS’s placing in this regatta move them ahead of Reichman, who did not attend. Meanwhile Sapienza Roma climb to 5th place after their win in Garda. The 2023 League table is here.
In the 12- month rankings table, POLIMI switch places with LBS, who won in Capri in 2022, to lead the rankings by 1 point. The rankings table is here.
The crew from Roman Business School Sapienza Roma won the POLIMI GSoM regatta at Lake Garda, Italy. They won 2 of the three races to finish top of the table with six points.
The POLIMI team 3 were consistent with 2 second places and a third, finishing second, while POLIMI team 1 had a 1 a 2 and a 6 to finish 3rd.

Ugo Alvazzi del Frate and his team from Polimi Graduate School of Management won a close contest at the Global MBA Trophy regatta in Piraeus, Greece on 21- 22 April. The Italian business school team won by one point over 6 races, winning the last three races to edge out newcomers Reichman business school from Israel.
The regatta was raced hard on Friday 21st, with the race committee getting 4 races away, anticipating lighter airs on the Saturday. 11 Platu 25s raced windward- leeward courses on the bay of Faliron, hosted by the Yacht club of Greece from their base in Microlimano harbour.
