We’re still waiting for official announcements for the second half of the year’s events, but this is how things are looking as it stands.

(14 April The IESE Spring Games, Barcelona Organised by IESE – does not qualify for the MBA Sailing League)
20 – 23 April 2023: The Global MBA Trophy, Piraeus, Greece. Organised by LBS.
(12 – 14 May 2023: Lisbon MBA Regatta, Lisbon, Portugal. Organised by The Yacht Week – does not qualify for the MBA Sailing League)
18 -21 May 2023: POLIMI Regatta, Lake Garda, Italy. Organised by POLIMI GSoM.
TBC June/July 2023: The RSM Regatta, Porto, Portugal. Organised by RSM
25 -27 August 2023: The Alumni Business Cup, Kiel Germany. Organised by WHU
TBC September 2023: The MBAs Cup, TBC, Italy. Organised by SDA Bocconi.
TBC October 2023: The Halloween Regatta, Lanzarote. Organised by IE

IESE Spring Games Regatta Called Off

10 May 2022

Hail storms, 26 knot winds and massive waves off Barcelona meant that the Spring Games regatta due to be held on 23rd April was cancelled. The Spring Games event itself went ahead with all the various shoreside sports taking place.

IESE announce dates for 2022 Spring Games

3 February 2022

IESE Business School in Barcelona have announced that the 2022 Spring Games will take place on 22- 24 April.

The sailing regatta is planned for Friday 22nd and Saturday 23rd, with boats and host venue/sailing club to be announced. Results from the regatta count for the MBAsailing league.

The programme will be:

Friday 22nd of April 2022 – Training and 1st day of regatta
Saturday 23rd of April 2022 – Regatta 9:00 Open door and free training11:00 –> 15:00 Regattas.

The format will be windward leeward races.

The sailing is just one sport in a multi- sport event.

The IESE Spring Games 2020 dates announced: 20-22 March

The IESE Spring games, the most recent addition to the MBA Sailing League, has announced the dates for the 2020 edition.

The event will take place on 20-22 March, sailing J80 Sportsboats as part of a wider sporting event. More details are available at the event website: https://www.iesespringgames.com/

IESE win their home games

15 September 2019

The IESE Spring games joined the MBA Sailing league for the first time in 2019. The sailing regatta was held off Barcelona, and occurred alongside the competitions in many other sports, and shared the evening festivities with them

The IESE Spring games join the MBA Sailing League: 5- 7 April

The IESE Spring games has been taking place in Barcelona in early April for many years, and in recent years has included a regular regatta. As the regatta has taken place for three consecutive years, and hosted multiple other schools, it now qualifies for the MBA Sailing league.

The 2019 event takes place on 5 – 7 April, as part of a multi- sport competition organised by the IESE business school.
