SDA Bocconi are the 2024 MBA Sailing League Champions

SDA Bocconi’s triumph in Cascais in the IE regatta means they secure the top spot in the 2024 Global MBA Sailing League. They have won 3 out of this year’s 4 regattas, with LBS winning the one regatta where Bocconi didn’t attend.

The Global MBA Sailing League trophy will be presented to SDA Bocconi at the Global MBA Trophy regatta in Piraeus, Greece, in April next year.

Second place in the league went to LBS, with IE completing the podium.

Bocconi leading the 2024 league

Bocconi’s close win at the RSM regatta in Valletta, Malta sees them return to the top spot of the 2024 MBA sailing league. They have 2 wins and a 6th, having not competed in Sardinia. LBS, missing the Malta regatta drop to second in the league, just 2 points behind them, while IE are third with their 2nd place, and being an ever- present in the 2024 season.

In the 12 month rankings, LBS stay top, although level on points with IE. Bocconi are third.

The season will see a final showdown in Cascais for the IE regatta in September. All three teams will be there. Bocconi need to finish less than 2 places behind LBS to win the 2024 league.

London Business School take the lead at the season’s half-way point

With a first in Italy and a second place in Greece, London Business school are topping the MBA Sailing League after the first two events of 2024’s 4- event series. POLIMI sit in second place with a second and a third place. Athens champions, SDA Bocconi, who didn’t make it to Sardinia sit in third.

LBS also move top in the 12- month rankings, which take into account all the regattas since this time last year. IE sit second and POLIMI third.
